Expensive holiday? Valuable luggage? These days, most people tend to buy their travel insurance online. But if you’re looking for something specialist or super-comprehensive, take note that we can cover much more over the phone than we can online. Allow us to explain... 

Travel insurance is a doddle on the www. But it’s more comprehensive over the phone.

If you’re like most people, you probably buy your travel insurance online. Recently we found out that 63.45% of our customers and blog-readers bought their last policy through the www. And why not? Buying online is quick and incredibly convenient.

But here’s the thing. If you have specific requirements for your travel insurance policy, you’re better off calling us. Because while our online-only policies are comprehensive, the cover we can offer over the phone goes even further.

What’s in your policy?

Take out a policy with World First online and you can get up to £10 million medical cover, up to £5,000 cover if you need to cancel your holiday or return home early, £750 for missed departures and £2,000 worth of cover for your possessions. On top of that you can also get cover for £400 worth of cash and £750 to change accommodation in the event of a natural disaster. It’s comprehensive, but what if you need more?

Need more? Just call.

Our online offering is comprehensive stuff. But if you call us you can increase those limits significantly. For instance, £5,000 cancellation cover becomes £10,000 cancellation cover. You get an extra £1,000 of cover for lost possessions. And instead of £750 to cover the change of accommodation following a natural disaster, you get £1,500 cover.

But why bother?

Well, the enhanced cover limits are particularly good if your holiday was expensive. Ditto if you are staying in an area where hotels and villas are pricey. Or if you are carrying expensive baggage. And if after you’ve called us we can’t quite give you the cover you need, there’s a good chance that we’ll be able to refer you to someone who can.
