Introducing the World First Travel Insurance review

We’re proud of our business. But we think the people who are best placed to comment on our service are our customers. That’s why we ask for feedback and read every piece. After all, we want to be the best. But there’s always room for improvement. We know because you told us.

Here’s how it works. Whenever someone buys a new policy with us, we ask them to rate their experience of our service out of 10 – 10 being the best. We also ask each customer if they think there’s anything we could do to improve our service. Each month we’re going to give you a rundown of the feedback we get, right here on the blog.

So far this month (September), we’ve received more than 250 pieces of feedback. The average service rating is currently just above 9 out of 10. We’ve received several ideas for improvements too. Is there anything we could have done better? Do you have any questions?

“A facility to receive an online quote.â€

Response from Managing Partner, Martin Rothwell: “We are working on this facility and hope to have a system in place in the New Year. This should enable our customers to save their quotes so they don’t have to re-enter any details after shopping around.â€

“Medical screening was not as easy to navigate as others. But questions were easy to answer.â€

Response from Managing Partner, Martin Rothwell: “Implementing medical screening online was quite a project in itself. We hope to revisit how medical screening works in 2012 and are continually tweaking our questions based on the feedback we receive.â€

“I am happy, but as they say, ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’. Hopefully I will not be ‘eating’. I would only claim if I really needed to.â€

Response from Managing Partner, Martin Rothwell: “A number of people say the same thing. We’re proud of the overall service we offer and that includes claims. We have a dedicated claims team and if anyone ever has a problem they can email me directly.â€

“At the expiry of my policy, will you look to offer a renewal based on the current medical declaration?â€

Response from Managing Partner, Martin Rothwell: “Unfortunately we do need to review the medical details for any client each time they insure and that includes when they buy a new annual policy. We’re conscious that conditions can change and therefore, in order to treat our customer’s fairly, we go through a fresh medical screening process each time.â€
